Welcome to the website for Fordingbridge Sports Club where you can learn about Club activities and find out about our exciting new development in association with the Town Council.
The Fordingbridge Sports Club aims to encourage, promote and improve the playing and enjoyment of all forms of sporting and recreational activities at all levels.
The Club was founded over 40 years ago and has successfully since then, with the commitment of players and local volunteers, overseen the different sports that have been played at the Fordingbridge Recreation Ground. Additionally the Club holds responsibility for maintaining a clubhouse for all our affiliated clubs, namely:

Fordingbridge Whippet Racing Club

Collectively the affiliated clubs attract a membership of men, woman and children in excessive of 750 members with a total of over 400 players of all ages using the Recreation Ground on a weekly basis from August until April and attending sports training sessions throughout the summer.
The football and rugby clubs play a vital part in the development of talent for their respective sports within the town. The number of players participating at junior level and the support and commitment displayed by the volunteers, supporters and parents are all testament to this. Both clubs have a fantastic record of young players going through the age groups and on to play for the senior sides.The Rugby Club currently has three players in the Hampshire County Under 20 squad, one of whom is the captain.
